Body of Work Display
In my Giacometti inspired portrait, I feel as if I successfully created a background that was influenced by Giacometti's practice, however I struggled with the actual portrait itself.
In my studio ink drawing, I struggled with mixing the correct colours and struggled with recreating the shadows that were created by the sharp edges of the classroom walls and ceiling.
I feel as if I was quite successful in my nude drawing, however I see my drawing as being more symmetrical and structured than ones that were created by Brett Whiteley.
In this artwork, the one i used for my final display, I believe i made excellent use of the charcoal in terms of shading, however I feel as though i struggled with the shape of the body, especially the hips and above the breasts. I also believe I did not make great use of the collage component, compared to artworks from previous years.

Installation Proposal
My proposed installation improves the surrounding site,
because it is designed to raise the confidence of the students who view it.
The concept of the artwork is to explore the power of a
person, as Antony Gormley did. Gormley's main artworks which influenced me include Capacitor (2001), Another Singularity (2008), and Angel of the North (1998). All of these installations explore the concept of the human identity and its power. The main idea is a student, holding the power in
their hands and collectively, all the students viewing the work hold the power
together.
